The resignation of Ibrahim Muhammad as chief justice of Nigeria (CJN) and the inauguration of an acting CJN, Olukayode Ariwoola, dominated the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

The Punch says the some branches of the Nigerian Bar Association have called for a probe into the administration of Muhammad, former chief justice of Nigeria (CJN). The newspaper reports that two real estate developers have defrauded at least 70 house seekers in Lagos.
