The crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) following Atiku Abubakar’s choice of running mate dominated the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.

The Nation reports that the post-presidential primary crisis rocking the PDP has escalated. The newspaper says one of the victims of the Abuja-Kaduna train attack has been shot in captivity.

Daily Independent says governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have taken a back seat in the activities of the party. The newspaper reports that the court has restrained the Oyo state house of assembly from impeaching Rauf Olaniyan, deputy governor of the state.
