The speculation on the zoning of the national chairmanship of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) dominated the cover pages of the Nigerian newspapers.
The Nation says the key leaders of the PDP in the north have proposed that the next national chairman of the party should come from the south. The newspaper reports that the controversy on value-added tax (VAT) threatens the federal government’s N8.36 trillion revenue target in 2022.
