Newspaper Headlines: Presidential jets gulp N26.38bn in 18 months

Punch reports that the federal government spent about N26.38 billion on the presidential air fleet within the first 18 months of the Bola Tinubu administration. The newspaper says Nkiru Chima, a 60-year-old Nigerian woman, has been found dead with multiple stab wounds in her apartment in Romford, UK.
Daily Trust reports that suspected bandits have abducted at least 150 people in just four days in Zamfara. The newspaper says at least 22 people have been confirmed dead and another 20 injured in a vehicle accident that occurred on the Lambata-Lapai road in Niger state.
