Newspaper Headlines: Reps fault new borrowing to fund 2022 budget

The federal government’s plan to enforce compulsory COVID vaccination for civil servants from December 1 appeared on the cover pages.

The Nigerian Tribune reports that the federal government will start to enforce compulsory vaccination for workers from December 1. The newspaper says over N75 billion is required to urgently fix 194 damaged roads across the country.

Daily Independent says lawmakers in the lower chamber asked for a reduction in the proposed new borrowing to fund the 2022 budget. The newspaper reports that Nigeria has earmarked N350 trillion for capital projects from 2021 to 2025.
