Mobolaji Adeniyi, president of Nigerian Institute of Architects
The Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) has announced plans to hold Africa’s largest architecture and building exposition from November 25 to 28.
In a statement on Tuesday, Mobolaji Adeniyi, the NIA president, said the exposition will take place at the institute’s new Architectural Village in the Idu district of Abuja.
Adeniyi said the exposition, tagged “Archibuilt 2025”, will showcase innovative technologies, sustainable design practices, and visionary projects shaping Nigeria’s architectural landscape.
She described Archibuilt 2025 as a tribute to the nation’s resilience, creativity, and unity, as well as the contributions of its heroes, past and present.

“The theme for this year’s celebration, ‘Nigeria at 65: All Hands-on Deck for a Greater Nation’, calls on professionals in the built environment to build a future that reflects our shared aspirations and architectural excellence,” the statement reads.
She added that the Archibuilt 2025 is more than an exhibition, noting that “it is a national platform for dialogue and collaboration among architects, engineers, surveyors, quantity surveyors, town planners, developers, policymakers, students, and the public”.
According to her, the event will address critical issues such as housing, infrastructure, climate resilience, and urban development.
