Nigeria move 3 spots in latest FIFA ranking

The latest FIFA rankings released on Thursday showed that Nigeria has moved three spots to the 64th position, while 2018 World Cup rivals Algeria, Cameroon and Zambia slipped in the ratings.
Nigeria is now ranked 14th in Africa.
Zambia, Nigeria’s opponent in the World Cup qualifier taking place next month, is ranked 92nd in the release.
Also, Nigeria two other World Cup group opponents dropped in their ratings.

Cameroun dropped five places to 59th while Algeria to 35th position. Côte D’Ivoire displaced Algeria from the top spot in Africa.
