The English Premier League website has ranked Nigeria as the most productive African nation in terms of goalscoring.

According to data on the EPL website, the three-time African champions are the 10th best goalscoring nation in the world since the start of the league in 1992.

Nigeria has 471 goals followed by Ivory Coast with 321 goals and Senegal with 314.

England is ranked number one with 10, 826 goals followed by France with 1,477 goals while Ireland is third with 945 goals.
