Bayo Ojulari, the group chief executive officer (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, says the country achieved 100 percent crude oil pipeline availability throughout June.
Ojulari announced the milestone during his keynote address at the 24th NOG Energy Week (NOGEnergyWeek) on Tuesday.
He said the achievement was recorded for the first time in a long while.
The NNPC boss said the accomplishment, driven by industry-wide security interventions led by the oil firm, significantly boosted crude oil production.

Ojulari called for more investments to increase production, adding that NNPC has been able to turn the narrative around by consistently meeting its cash-call obligations to joint venture (JV) operations.
He added that the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA 2021) has strategically positioned NNPC to lead the industry in financing key projects.
The GCEO also confirmed the successful crossing of the River Niger by the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) gas pipeline.

On June 26, Oilserv Limited said the $2.8 million AKK gas pipeline project crossed the River Niger after years of setback.
Ojulari said the achievement was made possible through effective contract reengineering and industry collaboration.
Speaking on his vision for NOG2025, the NNPC boss said he hopes the conference evolves beyond discussions to become a platform for celebrating achievements and finalising investment deals.
