#NigeriaDecides2023: Obi takes Plateau, Tinubu wins Oyo, Kwara as Atiku clinches Osun

Peter Obi, the candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has won the presidential election in Plateau state.

Obi won in eleven of the 17 LGAs in the state, while Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won three.

Meanwhile, Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) also won three LGAs.

In Kwara, Tinubu has been declared the winner of the state by the returning officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

He polled 263,572 votes to defeat Atiku who secured 136,909. Meanwhile, Peter Obi polled 31,166 votes.

The registered number of voters in the state is 1,695,927 while 497,519 were accredited.

Tinubu was also declared the winner of the presidential election in Oyo state, polling 449,884 votes to defeat Atiku who had 182,977 and Obi who secured 99,110.

There are 3,237,310 registered voters in Oyo while 854,439 were accredited to vote.

Atiku Abubakar however won the election in Osun state, polling 354,365 votes to edge Tinubu who had 343,945.

Obi secured 23,283 votes in the state while Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) polled 713.

There are a total of 1,954,800 registered voters in Oyo while 759,300 were accredited to vote.
