Aiteo Group has reached an agreement with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to acquire the Federation Cup naming rights for five years.
The tournament, formerly called Federation Cup, will now be known as Aiteo Cup.
The announcement was made on the Twitter handle of the NFF on Monday.
“Aiteo are now officially sponsoring the @thenff Nigerian FA Cup as #AiteoCup for the next 5 years #LocalContent #AiteoGroup”
Prize monies from this season will be N25 million for the male event and N10 million for the women event.
Male runners up will get N10 million while women runners up will get N5 million.
