Some Nigerian students, who have different positions about the Biafra agitation, clashed openly in Hennur, an Indian town, on Sunday night.

A Nigerian identified as Elvis Ohachosim was attacked while his car was set ablaze.

According to the Times of India, the Sunday attack was in retaliation to Ohachosim attacking two Nigerian friends the previous day.

On September 3, N Chigozie, a Nigerian had died after a tense argument over the secessionist struggle involving two Nigerian groups.

“We have filed four cases against these two groups in just 20 days,” the city police was quoted to have said.

The accused in all four cases are all Nigerian nationals who are in India either on business or student visas, the police also said.

While one of the groups is said to be supporting Chigozie’s brother — Nonso, the other is supporting the six Nigerians involved in the Sunday attack.
