Nigeria’s Oladapo elected deputy president of ATTF

Olabanji Oladapo has been elevated to the position of deputy president of the African Table Tennis Federation (ATTF) by the council board of the body.

Until his election, Oladapo was vice-president, administration. As deputy president, he replaces Henri Djombo who recently resigned.

Khaled El-Salhy, president of ATTF, said Olabanji’s contribution to the sport and his administrative acumen prompted the board to elect him to fill the post.

The former secretary general of the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) is also a member of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) board of directors and a member of the IOC Commission.

Alfred Bagueka Assobo of Cameroon was elected the vice-president, administration, while Jean Marie Okouna, from Congo, is the new regional vice-president of Central African.
