The WhatsApp users who experienced difficulties using the app on Friday morning are now communicating with it.

The app was down for about 30 minutes but the glitch was resolved.

Website DownDetector published a map showing more than a thousand WhatsApp users reporting issues with the app.

The problems were focused in western Europe and Asia, but were reported across the world, according to UK Independent.

Whatsappen, an unofficial Twitter account which reports on WhatsApp, tweeted at the time: “It’s not known how long the issues will take. WhatsApp is aware and working on it.”

WhatsApp went down earlier this year in May. It took some hours before the problem was fixed.

Whatsapp has really had a great impact in humanity, whatsapp has allowed us to spend less on recharge cards online before, so that reaction was expected when whatsapp was down.
