Sean Dyche
Nottingham Forest FC have appointed Sean Dyche as the club’s new head coach.
The club announced the arrival of the former Everton and Burnley manager in a statement on Tuesday.
Dyche replaces Ange Postecoglou, who was sacked over the weekend after just 39 days in charge.
The sacked manager did not win any of the eight matches at the helm of Forest’s affairs. His dismissal was announced just minutes after the club’s 3-0 loss to Chelsea on Saturday.

Forest said Dyche has signed a contract with the club that will run until 2027.
“A respected and experienced Premier League manager, Dyche brings the perfect blend of character, tactical acumen and proven achievement to guide the Club through its next chapter,” the statement reads.
“Having managed more than 330 Premier League matches in his career to date, Dyche has built teams defined by defensive organisation, resilience, and strength from set pieces —qualities that align closely with the current squad’s attributes and the Club’s footballing identity.

“As a former Forest youth player who lives locally, Dyche also has a deep understanding of the values and pride of Forest and its supporters. With his character, tactical acumen and man-management skills, his appointment represents the best opportunity for a successful and competitive season across both domestic and European competitions.”
Dyche’s first game will be on Thursday in a Europa League game against Porto before playing Bournemouth in the English Premier League (EPL) on Sunday.
Forest are currently 18th in the league.
