Emeka Ogbugh opened the scoring for the visitors in the 14th minute before United drew level through Peter Eneji’s 89th-minute goal.

MFM failed to capitalise on the leaders’ slip as they fell 0-1 to Abia Warriors in Umuahia.

Plateau United are still top of the table with 63 points while MFM remain second with 59 points.

Meanwhile in Calabar, Enyimba thrashed visiting Wikki Tourists 4-0 to maintain the joint third position with Akwa United.

Akwa United pipped Lobi Stars 2-1 while Rangers defeated Remo Stars 2-1.

Shooting Stars held El-Kanemi Warriors to a 1-1 draw in Maiduguri while Kano Pillars lost 1-0 to Nasarawa United.

In other match day 36 game results, Sunshine Stars were defeated 2-0 by Katsina United while Gombe United beat ABS 2-1.

The game between Niger Tornadoes and FC Ifeanyi Ubah will continue on Monday at 8am. It was postponed due to heavy downpour in Lokoja.

FC Ifeanyi Ubah were ahead by a goal.
