Stephen Odey’s eight goal of the season for MFM FC was enough to secure a 1-1 draw against Enyimba of Aba on Saturday.

The visitors were impressive from the start of the game and they showed their superiority when they took the lead in the 24th minute of the match.

MFM continued to dominate the game in the first half and had more opportunities to increase their lead but failed to convert.

Enyimba had chances of their own in the first half but firm defending by the visitors frustrated their chances.

Enyimba, who now play home matches in Calabar, started the second half with the sole purpose of getting an equaliser.

After several wasted opportunities and missed chances, Ibrahim Mustapha put the ball in the back of the net for the equaliser with four minutes to end the match.
