NPFL wrap-up: Abia Warriors, Heartland share points in derby stalemate

This weekend, the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) produced 12 goals, five home wins and two draws.

Here is the wrap of games from the seven centres.

Katsina United 2-1 Rivers United

In the northern derby, Wikki Tourists and Kano Pillars played out a 1-1 draw.

Nafiu Kabuga’s effort was cancelled out by Alassan Ibrahim in an explosive game played at the New Stadium in Jos.
