TheCable runs the rule on the games played in week 14 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Lobi Stars 3-2 Rivers United

Despite going behind at some point in the match, Lobi Stars fought back to register a 3-2 win over Rivers United at the Aper Aku Stadium.

Ezekiel Mbah opened the scoring for Lobi from the penalty spot in the 18th minute, but his goal was cancelled out by Oche Salefu 13 minutes later.

The Pride of Rivers took the lead thanks to a strike from Fredrick Obomate.

Austine Ogunye scored for the Pride of Benue in the 68th minute and grabbed the winning goal in injury time.

Kwara United 2-1 Kano Pillars

Two goals in the second half from Sunday Okechukwu and Lukman Binuyo handed Kwara United a 2-1 win over Kano Pillars at the Kwara Stadium Complex.

Junior Lokosa’s 12-minute effort for Pillars ended up being a consolation goal.

Heartland FC 2-1 Nasarawa United

A late MacMarcel Obioha strike broke the hearts of Nasarawa United who fell 2-1 to Heartland.

Akwa United 1-1 Abia Warriors

Akwa United and Abia Warriors played a 1-1 draw at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, in Uyo.

Obi Samson opened the scoring for the Promise Keepers in the 74th minute, but his goal was cancelled out by Christian Pyagbara as both teams shared the spoils.

Wikki Tourists 3-0 El-Kanemi Warriors

A brace from Shammah Tanze helped Wikki Tourists seal an emphatic 3-0 victory over El-Kanemi Warriors. Abba Umar bagged the other goal for the Giant Elephants.

FC Ifeanyi Ubah 3-0 Plateau United

Yaya Kone’s hat-trick fired FC Ifeanyi Ubah past Plateau United in Nnewi.

Niger Tornadoes 1-0 Sunshine Stars

Eric Frimpong delivered the only goal for Niger Tornadoes who pipped Sunshine Stars 1-0 at the Bako Kontagora Stadium.

Yobe Desert Stars 1-1 Enyimba

Philip Auta netted the equaliser for Yobe Desert Stars to force Enyimba to a 1-1 draw.

Go-Round 2-2 Rangers

Goals by Okon Otop and Chile Azu cancelled out Ifeanyi George’s brace as Go-Round and Rangers shared the spoils in a four-goal thriller.

MFM FC 2-1 Katsina United

Chijioke Akuneto was the hero for MFM FC as his brace helped the Olukoya Boys to a 2-1 victory over Katsina United. Garba Yashau was on target for the Changi Boys.
