The Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) matchday three game across various match venues saw Dakkada FC and Rangers winning away from home.

In Nnewi, FC Ifeanyi Ubah suffered a home loss as a goal from Nnamdi Mejuobi in the 29th minute was enough for the visitors to run away with the 3 points.

Plateau United 3-0 Heartland

Muhammadu Zulkifilu headed past Heartland keeper to hand Plateau United the lead at home in the 19th minute. Amos Gyang then scored from the spot after Francis Benjamin was booked for obstructing him in the 18-yard box to extend the lead.

A minute after Anaemena’s opener, Stephen Gopey brilliantly danced his way between two Kwara United’s defenders before squaring the ball to an unmarked Aguda in the six yards who then buried the ball into the net to double the Stanley Eguma boys lead. Chika Godwin came off the bench to put the game beyond the visitors in stoppage time.

Nasarawa 1-1 Kano Pillars

Adamu Hassan’s 83rd minute strike cancelled out Nyima Nwagua’s goal for Kano Pillars to share the spoil.

Lobi Stars 2-0 Warri Wolves

Ossi Martin got on the scoresheet in the first minute of play for the home side. Mathias Samuel then doubled Lobi’s lead in the 64th minute from a direct free kick.

Katsina United 2-0 Adamawa Utd
