Seven clubs jostled for points in various match centres on matchday 19 in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

This is how they fared.

MFM 1-1 FC Ifeanyi Ubah

It was a 1-1 draw in Lagos between the home side and Ifeanyi Ubah.

Lobi 2-1 Jigawa GS

Lobi Stars, who are ninth on the NPFL table with a game in hand, came from a goal down to beat Jigawa 2-1 at the Aper Aku Stadium, Makurdi.

Ibrahim Umar opened the scoring for the visitors in the 21st minute but Chinomso Okonkwo responded with a brace for the home side in the 51st and 57th minutes respectively.

Dakkada 4-2 Rivers United

Emmanuel Charles, Musa Bashiru, and Christian Ekong’s goals helped Dakkada secure maximum points at the Nest of Champions in Uyo. Nelson Esor netted a consolatory brace for Rivers United in the 39th and 44th minutes.

Kwara Utd 1-0 Nasarawa Utd

Samuel Ganda and Michael Ohanu’s goals ensured that the Afonja’s Boys remain atop the NPFL table.

Wikki 3-1 Katsina Utd

Manu Garba’s brace and Stephen Chukwude’s goal nullified Joseph Atule’s 22nd minute strike for the home side.

Kano Pillars 1-0 Wolves

Rabiu Ali’s spot-kick in the 63rd minute was the difference between both sides.

Sunshine Stars 0-0 Akwa United

It was a goalless affair between the Owena Boys and Akwa United at the Agege Stadium on Saturday.
