Akwa United 3-0 Rivers United

Goals from Mfon Udoh, Charles Atshimene and Maurice Chukwu were enough for Akwa United to beat Rivers United 3-0.

Kwara United 2-0 Warri Wolves


Stephen Jude and Michael Ohanu scored in the 8th and 56th-minute respectively to give the home side the much-needed three points over Warri Wolves.

Goals from Isaac Loute and Aniefiok Godspower helped Rangers seal an emphatic 2-0 victory over arch-rivals Heartland.

It was a goalless affair between Jigawa and Enyimba in Kaduna.


Sunshine Stars 0-0 Adamawa United

It ended 0-0 in Akure.

Lobi Stars 2-1 Katsina United

Two goals from Chinonso Okonkwo and Mathias Samuel handed Lobi Stars a 2-1 win over Katsina United at the Aper Aku Stadium in Makurdi.


Rasheed Ahmed’s 80-minute effort for Katsina ended up being a consolation goal.


Dakkada 3-2 Kano Pillars

Despite going behind at some point in the match, Dakkada fought back to register a 3-2 win over Kano Pillars at the Uyo Stadium.

Rabiu Ali gave the visitors an early lead and Gerome Henchong doubled Pillars lead in the 30th minute of play.

Christian Ekong scored for Dakkada to put the host back into the game in the 38th minute. Phillips Archibong then equalised for the hosts in the 48th minute before Isaac George grabbed the winning goal in the 76th minute.

The resurgence of Abia Warriors under the watchful eyes of Imama Amapakabo continued as they defeated Wikki Tourists 1-0 at Okigwe.

Abia Warriors managed to keep Wikki Tourists in check for 45 minutes with a tactically-disciplined performance. However, Fatai Abdullahi bagged the solitary goal for the hosts.
