The Ondo command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) says it has arrested three suspects for allegedly conveying illegally refined diesel in a boat in the state.

The suspects were arrested along Iwoye-Awoye, Ilaje LGA, Ondo state, on Wednesday.

In a statement on Saturday, Aidamenbor Daniel, spokesperson of NSCDC Ondo command, identified the suspects as Omoetan Iseoluwa Innocent, Ogbodo Adeshina, and Ajana Kehinde.

Daniel said the suspects were arrested after the agency marine patrol team received “credible intelligence” about their movement.
