As the western world is quickly making nude pictures, sex tapes and racy music videos a norm, one can’t help but worry about the obvious drop of human dignity.

The western world holds a lot of influence on most Africans, especially those who are very keen about their celebrities, their lifestyles, music, movies and more, but can they also sift out their ills?

Before the unfortunate hacking of some American celebrities’ private ICloud accounts, which revealed their nude pictures, some were already in circulation, such as those of Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Kim Kardashian, who willfully opted to reveal their nude/semi-nude pics. Even as other celebrities were praying not to be victims of the hack, the likes of actress Amber Rose had decided to share their naked pictures to the world before the hackers got the opportunity to.she said.

As pictures were not enough, Miley Cyrus chose to show the world exactly how she looked naked in her Wrecking Ball video. Raunchy rapper, Nicki minaj, an expert at teasing with her voluptuous and allegedly plastic-surgery-enhanced body, keeps making music videos like the very racy Anaconda.

Jeniffer Lopez, Jlo and Iggy Azalea’s Booty video could easily be in contest with Nicki’s Anaconda as they have the same theme – objectifying the female body.

Just as we thought they could not be topped or that this trend was just for the ladies, there came Maroon 5’s Animal video, showing Adam Levine and his wife naked and being intimate.

No special tricks to that effect as the Maroon 5 lead singer clearly did the unthinkable video art.  Animal can be described as soft pornography laced with music.

Hopefully, Nigerian celebrities are not secretly planning to reenact these ungodly acts.
