On Tuesday, Ajuji was reportedly abducted by suspected criminals at about 3:30am in Dadin-Kowa community, located in Yamaltu-Deba local government area of Gombe.
But Olukolu told NAN that the nurse was released on Wednesday after “persistent pressure from security agencies”.
He said: “Due to persistent pressure from security agencies, led by police operatives, the victim was released very early this morning.”
The abductors of Ajuji, a nurse with Cottage Hospital, in Dadin-Kowa, had demanded N10 million ransom.
