Okagbare crashes out of Olympics 100m

Nigeria’s biggest hope of securing athletics medal at the ongoing Olympic Games faded out with the loss of Blessing Okagbare in the 100m women race.
With a time of 11.09 seconds, Okagbare came third in the women’s first semi-finals, and will not be competing in the final.
Jamaican Shelly Ann Fraizer-Pryce emerged winner with the record of 10.88 seconds, while Jamaican Elaine Thompson, came third.
Three Jamaicans and two Americans made it to the finals of the 100m race.
