Blessing Okagbare-Ighoteguonor has failed to qualify for the 100m final at the world athletics championship holding in London, UK

Okagbare-Ighoteguonor has now failed to make the final event for the second consecutive year.

The Nigerian sprinter finished fourth in 11.08 seconds.

United States’ Tori Bowie came first in 10.91 seconds, Murielle Ahoure of Cote D’Ivoire second in 10.99 seconds and record holder Michelle-Lee Ahye of Trinidad and Tobago third in 11.04 seconds.
