Super Falcons coach, Edwin Okon, is focused on the task ahead as his team commenced their final training programme in Toronto in readiness for the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The team, which arrived at Toronto on Wednesday, trains twice daily at a pitch close to their Novotel Hotel lodge.
And Okon can’t wait for the games to start.
“I’m impressed with the way we have started,” he told thenff.com.

“I want us to hit the ground running and keep the team focused. We are here for serious business and we are not going to leave anything to chance.
“The weather here is okay and we are going to make the best of it in our subsequent trainings. It’s going to be a great start for us.”
The FIFA Women’s World Cup kicks off on June 6th and the Super Falcons will play their first game against Sweden in Winnipeg on the 8th.
