With Jelgava mounting lots of pressure, Joshua Akpudje, a former MFM FC star, stood his ground at the heart of the defence winning ground and aerial duels.

Leon Balogun was very effective in a very competitive debut for Rangers at Aberdeen. He was solid at the defence.
