The health of the Ibadan-based actor and former staff of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) has been deteriorating since 2013, and he once sought medical  assistance from his US-based younger brother, who is a medical doctor.

He was rushed to the intensive care unit of UCH in the third week of December, after he suffered cardiac arrest.

According to Moronfolu, donations can be sent to the actor via: Olumide Bakare, Ecobank, 3872003592.
