Onazi dedicates goal to Nigeria at 55

Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi, scored his first goal of the season for Lazio in the 3-2 win in the Europa League against Saint-Etienne and he dedicated the goal to Nigeria.

Lazio came from a goal behind to beat nine-man St. Etienne 3-2 in a thrilling encounter at the Stadio Olimpico in Europa League Group G.

The French side went ahead after just six minutes courtesy of a scrappy set-piece goal from Moustapha Sall.

But Lazio fought back through goals from Onazi, Wesley Hoedt and Lucas Biglia – after St. Etienne striker Robert Beric was sent off after 32 minutes for an elbow on Mauricio.

And the Nigerian international wrote on Twitter afterwards.

Onazi was shown a yellow card in the 25th minute and was replaced in the 74th minute by Danilo Cataldi.

‎Lazio are now tied on four points with Dnipro but with a superior goal difference to the Ukrainian side who defeated Rosenburg 1-0 in the other group game.
