Ogenyi Onazi, Super Eagles midfielder, bagged a brace on Saturday on his debut for Trabzonspor, and has dedicated the goals to his fans.
Onazi scored his debut goal in the 21st minute in a game that saw Trabzonspor dominate Kasimpasa from the blast of the whistle. He added the second just before the referee’s final whistle to earn his club a 2-0 victory.
“The goals are for my fans,” Onazi told TheCable.
“It is my debut and I got two fantastic goals. We had a great team work and it was a perfect start for me and my team.”
Onazi left Lazio FC of Italy for Tranzonspor on August 2, 2016.
