OpenAI, on Thursday, announced the launch of ChatGPT Pulse to provide personalised updates to users with premium accounts.
OpenAI said the feature “is a new experience where ChatGPT proactively does research to deliver personalised updates based on your chats, feedback, and connected apps like your calendar.”
Announcing the nerw feature in a statement on Thursday, the company described it as a “topical visual card” that can be quickly scanned or clicked on for more details, allowing users to receive the latest updates daily.
The AI company stated that the updates can conduct research for users based on their chat history and needs, delivering relevant updates the following day.

“These could look like follow-ups on topics you discuss often, ideas for quick, healthy dinner to make at home that evening, or next steps toward a longer-term goal such as training for a triathlon,” OpenAI said.
According to the statement, users can also link their Gmail and Google Calendar accounts with ChatGPT to boost the relevance of the suggestions it offers.
OpenAI noted that the connections are disabled by default and can be enabled when needed in the settings.

The company also said users can curate what they would like to see and give feedback on the research provided, adding that the feature is only available for preview and might not always give accurate suggestions.
“You can guide what shows up by telling ChatGPT directly. It remembers your feedback for next time and improves as it learns from real use,” the company stated.
OpenAI assured users that the topics on Pulse have undergone security checks to ensure that harmful content, which breaks their policies, is avoided.
