Adams Oshiomhole, national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), visited Abba Kyari, chief of staff to the president, after a court suspended hearing of an appeal he filed against the judgment of a federal capital territory (FCT) high court suspending him from office.

TheCable learnt that the embattled party chairman visited the presidential villa when President Muhammadu Buhari was at the Eagle Square to declare open the 2020 Science, Technology and Innovation Expo.

The meeting between the duo might not be unconnected with Oshiomhole’s suspension as the national chairman of the ruling party.

The APC national chairman had accused a serving minister and some governors of being responsible for his ordeal.

Oshiomhole later admitted that it is possible that he has made mistakes but there is no human being who is perfect.

Pictures and billboards of the embattled party chairman have been removed at the party’s secretariat in Abuja, while leaders of the south-south region of the party have asked the national executive council (NEC) to confirm Victor Giadom, acting national secretary, as acting national chairman.

Following a meeting between Buhari and some governors of the ruling party, the NEC meeting was postponed indefinitely.
