The former Lille player was listed in the 28-man squad for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) slated for Cameroon in less than eleven days.

Osimhen’s availability for the AFCON has raised some dust as he is currently recovering from a face injury.

There have also been back and forth disagreements between the Seria A giants and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on his match fitness level before the start of the biennial African showpiece.
