Osinbajo calls Bolanle Raheem’s family, says justice will be served

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo has commiserated with the family of Bolanle Raheem, a female lawyer killed in an incident involving a police officer in Lagos.

According to NAN, Osinbajo contacted the family of the deceased via phone call on December 28, 2022, and prayed for them.

The lawyer was pregnant at the time of her death on December 25.

A police officer, identified as Drambi Vandi, and attached to the Ajiwe division in Ajah area of Lagos has been remanded in prison over the incident.

Vandi has also been suspended by Police Service Commission (PSC).

During the phone call, the vice-president, who is said to be currently on vacation, assured the family of the deceased that justice will be done.

He also prayed that God would grant the deceased’s family the fortitude to bear the loss.
