Acting President Yemi Osinbajo is currently meeting with governors elected on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

The meeting, which is holding at the conference room of the vice-presidential wing, commenced after that of the national economic council (NEC).

It is believed that political developments relating to the ruling party would be deliberated upon.

On Wednesday, Abdulaziz Yari, governor of Zamfara, had said the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari was responsible for the delay of the party’s convention.

Buhari is currently on medical vacation in the UK.
