Immediately after the wedding, Osinbajo, and Ganduje went to the emir’s palace. Hundreds of supporters besieged the roads leading to the palace to cheer Osinbajo.

Shortly after arriving at the emir’s palace, the trio went into a meeting that lasted for about 30 minutes.

The outcome of the meeting was not made known, but sources said it was about the feud between Ganduje and Rabiu Kwankwaso, his predecessor.

The top politicians from Kano have made the headlines for controversial reasons in recent times.

Kwankwaso cancelled a rally he scheduled for the same date with Ganduje after the intervention of Osinbajo.

Both men were summoned to Aso Rock last week.

Before leaving Kano, Osinbajo inspected the multi-billion naira underpass being constructed near the Bukavu Barrack, along Katsina road, in Kano metropolis.
