P-Square set for world tour despite visa denial reports

The P-Square brothers have concluded plans for a world tour to promote its sixth album, Double Trouble, with concert performances starting from Namibia.

There had been contrary reports that the singers would have to cancel their planned trip to Namibia because they were denied visa to travel for fear of Ebola. It was said that their visa applications were rejected due to restrictions imposed by Namibia on people from Ebola-hit countries, which Nigeria, until recently, was one of.

If there was any truth to the reports, perhaps the declaration that Nigeria is now Ebola-free by minister of health, Professor Onyebuchi Chukwu, helped to allay the fears of Namibian authorities.

Peter Okoye took to Instagram to dispel the rumour, announcing that the tour would kick off in Namibia on September 27, after which they would head off to Congo on October 4, followed by Dubia on October 9.

P-Square had been billed to perform at a concert organised by the Namibian Breweries Limited at Hage Geingob Stadium in Windhoek on Saturday, with VIP tickets already sold out.
