PDP asks Buhari to call Lai Mohammed to order

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described as “reckless, irresponsible and highly provocative,” an earlier statement issued by Lai Mohammed, spokesman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

In the statement, Mohammed alleged that officials of Jonathan’s administration looted trillions of naira.

Reacting, Olisa Metuh, PDP’s spokesman, said: “the spate of fabrications by Mohammed had become a sickening source of worry for well-meaning Nigerians including those in his party”.

“President Muhammadu Buhari and the APC as a party should call their spokesman to order before he plunges the country into crisis with wild and unsubstantiated claims.

“In trying to escalate their stock-in-trade of lies, wild allegations and falsehood, the APC failed to understand that their baseless fabrications are capable of throwing an unsuspecting nation into chaos.

“Instead of engaging in unnecessary playing to the gallery, the APC-led government should get serious with the fight against corruption by investigating and prosecuting corrupt persons, while moving on with the demands of governance, especially in fulfilling their numerous campaign promises for which they were voted into office at the centre.”

  1. Mr Metuh, APC is not PDP whose measure of equality amounts to rice and beans where each grains claims equality. There is nothing Alhaji Lai Mohammed has said that warranted being called to order. He is being factual about PDP government. going by the civil servants twenty four properties amassed during PDP era alone seized twenty four hours ago, apart from other discoveries made in the last sixty days as well, how does APC spokesman lied with what is to come ahead of weeks again? PDP should be informed that the game is up when looting that was described by former President Jonathan as mere stealing is no more business as usual in governance is a reality. PDP should be ashamed of amoral because, PDP warped the truth. In a sane Country, any PDP seen in the public ought to be stoned to death, but because APC is a disciplined party with a disciplined President is the reason most of you people still work around unmolested. All PDP are ambivalent of reasoning.

    1. Story. Lie after lie. How far with the campaign promises?
Stop chasing shadows and work.Nigerians voted for change not one chance. If you are catching thief’s no wahala. But please feed the students too, naira must be @least 1 dollar to 40 naira, fuel my be 40 naira at most. Stop this cock and bull stories. 3 months on no assets published.na wah. Is this change? Could have sworn PDP was still in power

      1. Agent of corruption, see how your brothers turned our dearest country to, I don’t know what’s amusing you, when there is no motorable way to your community, you only go there once in Christmas period, bros open your eyes, selling spare part dose not turn your sense backward.

      2. Forget about campaign promises for now, if only PMB can recover all the loots from PDB barawos, all those that voted for APC would be fully satisfied. I we would vote for PMB again and again and again. For Muteh I see only darkness at the end of the tunnel for him.Your plans have failed. Jonathan must SING AND THE PEACE COMMITEE MUST DANCE

        1. The loot that your lord and king OBJ recovered from Abacha, where is it today?.Stop being mischievous, there is no difference between APC and PDP. Infact with the kind of characters in APC who made their initial fortunes from drugs and financial fraud in US could be more dangerous for the country.

  2. 3 months is going. Not even a single arrest, no conviction. All talk and talk and talk. Somebody should tell Lai Mohammed that APC is no longer in opposition that thrives in propaganda, but now a ruling party with all government security agencies at its disposal to arrest and prosecute looters. We are getting sick and tired of these figures traced to faceless Jonathan administration
