Tajudeen Abbas, the house of representative speaker designate, has met with Bola Tinubu, the president-elect.
Abbas was presented to Tinubu during a meeting convened by the joint task group of the house of representatives in Abuja
TheCable had reported how the All Progressives Congress (APC) nominated Godswill Akpabio, a former minister of Niger Delta affairs, as president of the senate.
Abubakar Yalleman, representing Kaugama/Mallam Madori constituency of Jigawa, Usman Kumo, Akko federal constituency of Gombe and Aliyu Madaki of Dala federal constituency, Kano were among the lawmakers present at the meeting.
