Aderonke Kale, Nigeria’s first female major-general, has been laid to rest.

She died in November 2023 at the age of 84.

A funeral service was held on Friday at the Chapel of The Resurrection, University of Ibadan, Oyo state.

The reception took place on Saturday at the Omolayole Hall, University of Ibadan International Conference Centre.

Yemi Kale, her son and former statistician-general of Nigeria, shared photos of the burial rights on his X account.
