President Muhammadu Buhari is presiding over the reconvened security meeting at the presidential villa, Abuja.
The meeting which was adjourned from last week Friday to Tuesday, is holding at the First Lady’s conference room as the usual venue for such meetings, the council chamber, is undergoing renovation.
Those in attendance include Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, Boss Mustapha, secretary to the government of the federation (SGF), and Ibrahim Gambari, chief of staff to the president.
Others are Bashir Magashi, minister of defence, and Babagana Monguno, national security adviser.
Lucky Irabor, chief of defence staff; Ibrahim Attahiru, chief of army staff; Awwal Zubairu, chief of naval staff; and Isiaka Amoo, chief of air staff, are also in attendance.
Usman Baba, the acting inspector-general of police (IGP), is also present at the meeting.
