The Anambra government has expressed its sympathies to victims of a recent fire outbreak at Kano street, in Onitsha.

The incident occurred on Monday around 1am near the main market in Onitsha.

During a visit to the area later on Monday, Chukwuma Soludo, governor of Anambra, who was represented by Onyekachukwu Ibezim, deputy governor, said investigation into the incident is ongoing.
