Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar is currently attending a meeting of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition leaders taking place in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
Other politicians attending the meeting include Nasir el-Rufai, former Kaduna governor; Isa Pantami, former minister of digital economy; David Mark, ADC chairman; and Aminu Tambuwal, ex-governor of Sokoto.
In a post shared on X, Abubakar said the meeting is against the “oligarchs who promote poverty and insecurity in the land”.
In July, opposition politicians and some ADC leaders adopted the party as the coalition platform for the 2027 elections.
