Maikanti Baru, group managing director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) hugged Ibe Kachikwu, minister of state for petroleum resources, at the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) in Abuja.

Both men smiled, exchanged pleasantries and posed for photographs. It is exactly a week after a petition which Kachikwu wrote against head of the oil firm was made public.
