PHOTOS: Buhari attends army trooping parade in military regalia
President Muhammadu Buhari attended the Nigerian army trooping and presentation of colours parade at the Eagle Square on Thursday.
Clad in ceremonial military uniform, the president reviewed over 1,000 officers participating in the parade.
The president also unveiled 28 of the 81 national and regimental colours for the newly established and operationalised units.
Ahmad Lawan, senate president; Lucky Irabor, chief of defence staff; Faruk Yahaya, chief of army staff; Usman Baba; inspector-general of police, Oladayo Amao; chief of air staff, and Awwal Zubairu Gambo, chief of naval staff, were in attendance.
