PHOTOS: Buhari attends swearing-in of Mahamat Deby as Chad’s transitional president

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Monday, attended the inauguration of Mahamat Déby as the president of the Chadian transition government.  

Mahamat assumed office as acting president of Chad republic in April 2021 after the death of his father, Idriss Déby.

The older Deby died while fighting rebel forces in his country.
