President Muhammadu Buhari joined other world leaders at the launch of the ‘Global Methane Pledge’, held as part of sideline activities at COP26 in Glasgow, Scotland.
The ‘Global Methane Pledge’, which is championed by the United States and the European Union (EU), focuses on reducing methane emissions by 30 percent by 2030.
Present at the event were Joe Biden, United States president; Boris Johnson, UK prime minister; Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India; Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada, among others.
