President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday met with members of the coronavirus economic committee at Aso Rock.

This is the first time the president is meeting with the members since the committee was set up in March.

Those present were Zainab Ahmed, minister of finance; Godwin Emefiele, governor of Central Bank of Nigeria; Timipire Sylva, minister of state for petroleum resources and Mele Kyari, managing director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).

After the brief meeting, Ahmed and Emefiele addressed the press before leaving the villa.
